Film Poster mock up

This post features my initial ideas for my film poster. The film poster that I have produced below features all of the key effects and conventions of a film poster. There is the main title that is very large and effectively catches the audiences eye as well as allowing for all of the other features of the poster to show. Above the title is the name of the main actor, this allows the audience to establish an early connection with the character and film hopefully encouraging them to eventually see the film. The image I have chosen for the mock up slightly resembles what I hope to see in my final draft of my film poster. And finally if we move down to the bottom of the page we can see the film credits that help to show who the production company of the film are and who is staring in the film etc. this mock up film poster helps to follow the basic conventions of a film poster and will help me when creating my main poster.
